The Youth Leadership Program prepares young learners from under-resourced and semi-urban communities to thrive in a changing world.
Through mentorship, life-skills training, and leadership development, GBTC helps students build confidence, communication, critical thinking, and empathy—the essential qualities of 21st-century leaders.
This program nurtures both personal growth and community responsibility, empowering young people to dream bigger, speak up, and lead with compassion.
“When youth lead, they lift entire communities."
In many underserved communities, young people grow up without role models or exposure to leadership opportunities. They often see leadership as something reserved for adults or people in positions of power. The Youth Leadership Program changes that narrative. It gives youth the platform to discover their voice, take initiative, and build skills that prepare them for the future — whether as professionals, entrepreneurs, or community builders. Through guided mentoring and real-world projects, participants learn that leadership isn’t about position — it’s about contribution.
A second-year student at Middlesex University, Dubai, Advik leads GBTC’s youth-driven storytelling and documentary projects. His work showcases how education and technology are transforming lives across rural India.
A final-year Architecture student at Sushant University, New Delhi, Mallika designed GBTC’s Jail Reformatory Project, creating learning spaces that bring dignity and education to inmates. Her work shows how design can become a tool for healing.
A Class 8 student and winner of GBTC’s Exceptional Student Award (2024), Aman assists mentors in guiding younger students from Class 5 as they prepare for competitive exams. He proves that leadership has no age — only dedication.
Two participants from our program, Ansh Gupta and Akanksha Gupta, received full B.Tech scholarships in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University through GBTC Trust.
