The Shri Harish Chandra Dwivedi Ability Enabler Award is dedicated to individuals who quietly shape lives and communities through values, mentorship, and inspiration. It recognizes those whose moral strength and integrity continue to empower others — even beyond their own lifetime.
Shri Harish Chandra Dwivedi was born into a distinguished family of doctors and lawyers. Following his family’s tradition of service, he pursued a career in law and became known for his honesty, compassion, and unwavering sense of justice.
Though his life was brief, his influence endures through the values he imparted to his family and community. His calm guidance inspired his siblings to excel — one becoming a respected professor, another a successful businessperson.
His life exemplifies the power of quiet strength and moral clarity, showing that one need not lead loudly to make a profound impact. The GBTC Ability Enabler Award honors his legacy of enabling success through integrity, humility, and inspiration.
The Shri Dev Narayan Dubey Ability Enabler Award honors individuals who uplift communities through leadership, social service, and unwavering dedication to progress. It celebrates those who, like Shri Dubey, rise from humble beginnings to create lasting change in the lives of others. This award honors the ability to find purpose through adversity and to inspire strength within others. This award is dedicated to celebrating a person’s ability to transform limitation into leadership — an echo of Shri Rajesh Agarwal Ji’s unwavering faith, positivity, and compassion.
Shri Dev Narayan Dubey was born in the rural village of Udharna, near Tarun, and rose from modest origins to become a respected leader in the banking sector. With determination and a deep desire for learning, he moved to Calcutta for higher education, where his perseverance led to a successful career in banking, eventually retiring as a Regional Manager.
Despite his professional accomplishments, he remained deeply rooted in his community — continually supporting rural development and helping underprivileged individuals achieve dignity and opportunity.
His journey is a testament to how humility and hard work can transform lives, not just one’s own but of many others. The GBTC Ability Enabler Award celebrates his legacy of empowerment, service, and dedication to social betterment.
