Educator Development Program
Overview
The Educator Development Program is GBTC Trust’s initiative to strengthen the foundation of education — the teachers. We believe that every educator deserves access to high-quality professional growth, no matter where they teach.
Through monthly virtual workshops, in-person professional development sessions, and ongoing school-based mentoring, GBTC helps teachers move beyond rote learning toward engaging, technology-enabled, student-centered education.
Why It Matters
In many under-resourced and semi-urban schools, teachers work tirelessly but have limited access to new teaching tools or training. They often lack peer networks or exposure to emerging education practices. The Educator Development Program bridges that gap — offering teachers across districts and even countries the opportunity to learn, connect, and collaborate. It transforms teaching from an isolated act into a shared, innovative, and rewarding journey.
How It Works

Every month, GBTC hosts a virtual professional development workshop featuring national and international speakers. Educators join live sessions to learn about:

In-Person Professional Development Sessions — Learning by Doing
Each year, GBTC conducts in-school training programs in partnership with government and community schools across different districts. These sessions focus on:
- Hands-on use of digital teaching tools
- Interactive and creative lesson design
- 21st-century skills for both teachers and students
One memorable collaboration linked a rural school in Ayodhya with Ryan International School, Noida — where students interacted virtually under their teachers’ guidance. Such experiences show that technology and innovation can unite classrooms far beyond geography.

Continuous Mentorship & School Visits — Sustaining the Change
Learning doesn’t end with a workshop. Our team conducts regular school visits to observe lessons, troubleshoot technology issues, and provide personalized feedback. These visits ensure that teachers feel supported as they apply new techniques in their daily classrooms.
