Competitive Exam Mentorship for Rural Talent

Preparing bright minds from underserved communities for India’s top residential schools.

Overview

The Super 60 Program identifies and mentors academically gifted students from economically weaker families who aspire to study in government-aided residential schools such as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Vidyagyan Schools and Atal Awasiya Vidyalayas. Through a rigorous selection process and a 9–10 month learning journey, students receive daily online coaching in Hindi, Reasoning, and Mathematics, attend bi-monthly physical boot camps, and are guided by dedicated volunteer mentors.

Each child receives a Laptop, Annual Stationery Kit, Mobile Accessories, and 12-month Recharge Support, ensuring they have the tools and access needed to succeed.

“Super 60 gave me not just learning—but belief that my dreams are possible.

Why It Matters

In many underserved communities, talented students dream big but lack the guidance, exposure, and digital support needed to reach competitive pathways. They have potential, but not direction; ambition, but not the roadmap. The Super 60 Program bridges this gap—moving students from uncertainty to clarity, and from aspiration to achievement.

Before Super 60

  • Little access to mentorship or career guidance
  • Low confidence despite strong academic potential
  • Students unsure how to prepare or where to begin
  • Limited awareness of competitive exams and opportunities

After Super 60

  • Structured coaching and personalized mentorship
  • Clear understanding of pathways, exams, and future options
  • Boosted confidence and academic readiness
  • Students equipped to compete, qualify, and succeed

2015-Present

Launch of Super 60

GBTC Trust wanted to further contribute to the growth and education of poor, deserving and needy students of the Ayodhya district. With the support of Basic Shiksha mentors, this has become possible and we are executing our plan to support the children

Project Enable Enlighten Batch

Team GBTC decided to support 60 children for the Navodaya Vidyalaya entrance exams. Due to COVID, virtual classes were necessary, so they raised funds to procure 62 smartphones. Interested students underwent a local assessment exam, and the 62 best performers were enrolled in the initiative.
